>>Why don't you focus on what the company is doing today, instead of constantly referring to an irrelevant past. You may find you have something substantive to contribute.<<
While I respect your comment and all of your other contributions to the thread, I find that having ALL views on a company is very important. Damien has been a contributor on this thread and the former one for a long time. Getting "other" opinions IMO is very welcome. We all make our own decisions and for me, getting both sides of the story is very important.
Some time ago on this thread, everyone, led by ahhaha, except I think Damien, was very, very bullish. Turns out that after the spike, ahhaha has gone into hiding somewhere and Damien after all appears to have been the voice of reason.
Yes, EXLN has changed their focus and they are getting some important relationships into place. Now the EXECUTION of the strategy is required. I feel they are better positioned than previously but still they are losing money, have a huge hill to climb to get their eXelon revenue to be greater than their Object DB SW as it appears that they are at least downplaying any strong marketing push of their older SW, and have raised some questions in my mind as they are appear to be trying to be BOTH a SW company and a Services company.
to say the least, this is still a company that has quite a way to go to complete the transition to the new and improved company.
I am not saying it will not come out all right in the end but strategy EXECUTION is critical at this point. Is the past strategy execution a prologue to the future???
Damien has the advantage of being a EXLN customer. He is the end point of strategy execution. To me his views are critical in assessing strategy eXecution. Mind you there may be other customers on this thread who love EXLN and I would LOVE to hear from them as well.
In the meantime, lets hear all we can. I remain long but I would not bet the house on this one yet.
