That is as it should be. And since both parents in this case are non-Americans I would guess that further weakens the case for the non-relatives. If only from an emotional point of view.

Sexual abuse is not found in the cases in this area to be the kind of threat asylum was designed to fix. The ALJs do not see that kind of family matter as rising to the level of the kind of persecution Asylum is intended for. And I am in complete agreement.
