Good point, Bernard. For obvious reasons, many think that CSCO has an insatiable appetite for any company that may appear in the somewhat broad space CSCO finds itself going forward. I don't think it really works like that.

I am sure that CSCO "considers" many companies that offer it something, but I am sure it has a long checklist that it goes through before any company is seriously considered a candidate for acquisition. I am sure that corporate culture is one that is on the top of John Chambers' list. While maturity of a company is an issue, I don't think it would necessarily preclude serious consideration. More importantly, I think CSCO will weigh the particular technology or skill set the company & its employees offer and how it may fit it CSCO's particularly plans going forward. Nevertheless, I agree that TKLC is not a company that CSCO would be seriously interested in.
