Dear Ellen: The way I understand it is as follows. the Global Crossing CENTER business will be spun off and an IPO will be done for a PORTION of the spinoff. That portion UNSOLD to the public will be held by Global Crossing GROUP. Eventually, Global Crossing GROUP will take THEIR shares in Global Crossing Center and dividend them out to the Global Crossing Group shareholders (US). I dont follow your word Addition?? The question is WHAT is being done with GLOBAL CROSSING GROUP after that? I believe it is THAT which is going to be sold, and since it will no longer hold any CENTER stock the price will be much lower then we have been contemplating. JDN
