But really, it wasn't about convincing him. It was partly compulsion (you called it tenacity, tactfully) and mostly that I felt like I was seeing something amazing, and until I'd gotten the full frontal, kept wanting to see more. In the end, it was maybe the most memorable exchange I've had on SI, and I'll never forget it. I know that's strange, and I'd have a hard time explaining it. It was not a cheering experience.
