I posted this before, but for some reason the post didn't show up.

In RT3 you can go to Help, then Symbol Guide to perform searches for sybols for both stocks and indexes.

For example type 'nasdaq composite' and you'll get $compx.

Change 'type of search' from 'name' to 'symbol' and search for the pattern '$*' (without quotes) and you'll get all of the indexes starting with the dollar sign.
