MUCH training is necessary
This is always a large problem when a proprietary system is being sold. Anyone who works with a sun server pretty much has to be trained by sun. The person setting up a Dell server may have been trained on Compaq or Hewlett Packard machines, but it's really a matter of what software they are installing which isn't locked into a specific vendor.
