I don't get this "authorized enough shares". If you do a 2 for 1 split, why do you need to authorize shares? What are the shares authorized for?

What am I missing here?

Shouldn't we have 304,000,000 shares after the split being we have 152,000,000 shares now, assuming a 2 for 1?
