The market was harmed? That's ridiculous, paternalistic crap. The market is a self regulating mechanism that will not stand still long enough to be harmed. The only thing that can harm the market is nonmarket coercion such as we see from the government.

I suspect that you just want the government to engage in reverse triage - kill the strongest players to subsidize the terminal cases. You seem to think that affirmative action should exist in a free market where smaller firms are nurtured and protected from market forces.

The government should be neutral as to the market. We have the tort system to handle consumers and companies who have grievances against a particular company.
