Hey Thread, I read the Fortune Mag. article today.....the very last question to Welch was about who would be his replacement .....(the clear implication was that maybe he was interested in McNealy for the job).....his response was "I have nothing to say"....when McNealy was asked who he thought would be the replacement ....he said he had to follow what Mr. Welch had said ,and said ...."I have nothing to say".....btw, Jack also said he frequents the chat rooms to see what is being said about his GE , so,Jack, if you are reading this ....KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU !!!!

on a lighter note, the front page of IBD dated April 27 has a picture of Jack getting the evil eye from Paul Edwards, Chairman of the Coalition of Retired GE Employees at the annual meeting....the "group says pensions are meager and should be raised".
