Re: Morningstar.com drops coverage of Symantec SYMC. Hi guys, thanks for asking about me and M*'s stock coverage. I'm sorry to say that the analysis got pulled from the site around the time of the earnings release because i've formally dropped it from my coverage list. I've added a few stocks lately, have radio shows, and a weekly IPO article. So what had to go was SYMC NETA and NOVL. Nothing wrong with those companies but I'm dumping all security software and OS Software and expanding on webhosting and ASPs. Someone else will pick these stock up at a later date, though. So I can't offer any analysis on the stock since I haven't checked out their latest quarterly release.

This is a cool board, especially since I find SI in general to be a dying community. So i'll miss hanging out here.

But if you need to find me, I'll be at morningstar.com. our search engine sucks until its upgrade is complete but if you type in my name you'll find most of my articles and some of my newswires. been churning out a ton of the latter them for earnings season. One of few messg boards i have time to post to now is the new M* IPO board, feel free to post to it:

Actually, it looks as if the growth rate (of revenue as well as of EPS and cashflow) is accelerating again, if I read the following summary data from Morningstar correctly:
quicktake.morningstar.com.

Speaking of Morningstar, you might want to drop a query to an SI-er by name of Netconductor, who wrote an analysis of Symantec for it, of which he notified this thread:

Message 12467386

Unfortunately, his analysis has since disappeared from the site. ?? Updating necessary??
