"Our results exceeded our expectations, despite a seasonally low period for both home and auto lending," said Chris Larsen,CEO of E-LOAN. "In the first quarter, we have made great strides in key areas that will help further strengthen our leadership in the online lending category with unique products and services for our customers.
We are in the process of expanding our auto loan capability to a multi-lender platform, which will increase our approval rate for borrowers across the credit spectrum. We have also begun offering loans to support person-to-person auto sales," added Mr. Larsen. "On the mortgage side, we have taken a large step toward further simplifying the loan process by developing a process for our most credit-worthy borrowers that lets them get loans at our same low rates without the hassle of providing paper documentation. These developments will help us capture an ever-larger share of business as more and more people come online for loans."

Good investing!
