I see GTK has bought a stake in an internet encryption company to help them with a possible entry into internet gaming.

But what will they do with their existing infrastructure? Internet lotto sales will just scavenge sales from their "old economy" infrastructure.

Also, since they are a major player in lotto sales they won't be able to partner with other providers as an internet gaming services consultant. ELOT is a pure internet play.

If the industry leader always prevails when an industry starts to go virtual, then there would be no Amazon.com, Global Crossing, Commerce One, etc. Barnes & Nobles, AT&T, and Anderson Consulting would have prevailed. But such was not the case.
