The float is the number of shares that are out in the market. 48mm is the "FD" or full dillution. The full dillution is the make up of, warrants, options, and "Outstanding shares". Outstanding or OS can also be used as "a float".

So you ask a valid question, but the answer is not easy. How many options have not been exercised? How many warrants have not been exercised? Subtract those, then subtract the millions of shares held by insiders and friendlies and that reflects "a more probable float".

Some friendlies are also related to some of the firms that are interested in forming a JV, so you can assume that even if they are not selected as the JV of choice, if the propertty is as valuable as we all think, they won't be selling.
