Good morning/evening, Steven.

I think that what lorrie envisions is bath time with the child in the sink or in the tub and the parent out of the tub. If this is her only experience with bathing children, then I can see why she finds climbing into the tub with the child to be off and possibly unsavory.

Those of us who have found it normal and a good deal less strenuous to climb into the tub with the wriggling two year old at bath time are bound to consider her reaction a bit strange.
