Central Bancompany Chooses SEDONA Corporation For Advanced Customer Relationship Management Solution
LIMERICK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2000--SEDONA(R) Corporation (NASDAQ:SDNA) (www.sedonacorp.com) announced today a contract to provide a comprehensive enterprise-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution to Central Bancompany, of Jefferson City, Mo.
The contract win represents another new account name for SEDONA since it acquired the Customer Information Management System (CIMS) business unit from Acxiom(R) Corporation earlier this month. The CIMS system is expected to play a key role in developing Central Bancompany's sales culture and coordinating its marketing programs and products among its member banks.
"With the SEDONA CIMS system in place, we will be able to leverage our customer relationships and data to unprecedented advantage", said Jay Coakley, Central Bancompany's Director of Marketing. "It will allow us to create an entirely new dimension to our sales, marketing and customer service functions, by giving us a qualitative look at our customer information in a way that will truly transform our organization."
"The CIMS customer relationship management system is tailor-made for small- to mid-sized financial services companies such as Central Bancompany," said Alyssa Dver, Vice President of Marketing at SEDONA. "Most of our customers are seeking ways to differentiate themselves in the increasingly competitive financial services market. SEDONA's CRM solution allows them to quickly and effectively deliver personalized services to their banking customers while at the same time, it allows the bank to focus their limited sales and marketing resources on delivering the right programs for profitable results."
