I know I know just more lies but what I can't understand is why AMD couldn't sell more than a measly 1.2 Million Athlons under these circumstances, unless they have yield or serious demand problems.

The answer is obvious...they are selling all they can make. The reason that the media, analysts and this thread are jumping all over Intel is that they screwed up somewhere.....if not with yields, than somewhere in the manu. process or in the planning for the manu. process. Why do I say this? Because Intel can not meet its committments to customers in an average growth year for pc chips.

The only thing worse than having a problem is denying that that problem exists.
