Alex and Tom I'm still "afloat" thanks to AMD and some other equities in my portfolio. I'm beyond trying to make sense of ATVI, the Pr's are awful and the guidance is confusing. I guess we have earnings soon, although I can't figure out what they "should" be in light of the recent charges/FUD. I did see this article re: ATVI's DC strategy and PS2. It is several pages long, so I won't post it...but it's worth a read. mcvnow.com The seemingly on-again-off-again strategy Activision has exhibited toward Dreamcast can be boiled down to risk management. One element that has contributed to Activision's wariness in full-on support for DC is the promise of PlayStation 2 ? the expected success of which is described by Mitch Lasky, Activision's executive VP of studios, as a "slam dunk."
