HaHaHA. That's either the funniest or most nieve statement I have read in a long time. It's so much easier for special interests to bribe their way through the states one by one than it is to tug and pull on the limited number of national figures.

What's easier one stop shopping or making 50 stops? You think the price of a state legislator is 1/50th of that of a US Congressman?

You really don't in your heart of hearts belive in self government do you? Every once in a while it slips out like the statement above or Clinton's about why he doesn't like tax cuts - no guarantee people will spend it right.
