A book I recommend highly: A Beginner's Guide to Day Trading Online by Toni Turner. amazon.com I endorse it because it has EVERYTHING you will need to begin trading on line and following a Real Time Trading Forum and ours especially. It will show you how to 'set up' your monitor screens with all the windows you will need for our trading forum. Within these windows you will have your S&P futures, different chart time windows, CCI (or comparable overbought oversold oscillators).. and of course moving averages.. etc. This book includes a number of prerequisite trading 'set ups' and workable, simple trading strategies for day or swing trading. Pristine Market Gems will be using some of these set ups, as well as some of the more advanced techno-fundamental strategies from our own upcoming book. In fact with Toni's book you will be ready for our real time trading forum without combing the book lists for 'beginning on line trading manuals'.. that may or may not be what the authors claims them to be. With her setups and explanations anyone could be well on their way to becoming successful day/swing trader.
