Heinz: As we are becoming more and more of a service economy, computer related productivity improvements have a greater impact on GDP whether reported or not... While they may not be producing shoes any faster, the back office of buying, accts payable, accts rec, marketing, etc., have had increased productivity via the computer and related hardware and software... This can be said throughout all sectors of the economy... The internet will perhaps change the way business is conducted... Ebay is a prime example... Jim
