Hey Bob wake up. You have a real problem here with understanding.

In your first statement you say: who's parents were willing to sacrifice themselves to send their children to freedom, in the U.S.

Then you go on to suggest The Miami Cuban family wanted Elian to live free, and felt additional pressure to keep Elian free, due to his mother's last wishes, before she died.

Hello, is anyone home? These people in Miami are only relatives. RELATIVES. Did you catch that part? Great Uncle Lazlo is ONLY A RELATIVE. That makes him the Brother of Elian's Grandfather.

Guess what? You have a real disconnect with the very things you are saying because Elian has a FATHER. His Father wants Elian to remain with him. You cannot possibly believe that his mother would want to keep Elian from his Father even if her dead body had standing, which it does not.

Elian belongs with his Dad. Game Set Match. Go save some souls in Angola, or Haiti, or Kosovo. Even Kissinger is against your position.
