Motorola's phones are a commodity. No doubt about that. But there's a long way from this fact to talking about "phones" in general. It's a leap you seem to take without looking.

Dirt cheap euro would have an interesting impact on the W-CDMA and GPRS sales competition in Europe and Asia. Want to guess what would happen to the network margins of North American vendors like Motorola?
