I have one question for the entire thread. If Justice Sept. prevails, should we expect the cost of PC systems and SW to go up or down?

I can not imagine MSFT competitors wanting the cost to go down, since many (i.e. Corel, INPR, etc.) can not make money at the current levels, and Sun nor Apple seem intent on lowering their prices. Thus we have the unpleasant possibility that the anti-trust measures being taken may actually harm the public, and bring the screaming US PC industry to screeching halt.
