Steve,

Microsoft freed us from the overpriced Apples (hardwares and softwares), who is the true monopoly.

$180 is way too much to pay for an operating system. All it is is an oversized box and a CD. Windows ought to sell for about 49 cents. How much can a CD cost?

Why is it that hardware sells for so little, even though it requires great minds and a billion dollar fab, whereas software is so expensive (even though it requires only a single primate to do the programming and the only investment expense is a free computer w/ISP service and a R/W CD drive)?

I'll bet this post stirs up a little conversation ;^)))
