Hello Mike: Thanks for commenting on the realities of the oil exploration business about which I know very little. I appreciate your keeping tabs on the progress of the EMSounder.

Your comments about well flow underscore my original point that UPR is unlikely to release news without having a high degree of certitude about its real potential. How long does it take an oil company to assess a find? A week, a month?

<< Until you and the other investors in IMMM have the details of the geological model and of the economics of the situation, neither you nor anyone else can make an informed decision regarding the efficacy of this technology.>>

In the case of the Rother 1, the EMSounder's data correleated well with other methods previously used by UPR. There is real economic value in narrowing the odds. So using the EMSounder as an adjunct to other methods is sensible and has economic value.

Also, judging by the farm-in agreements with IMMM, it would appear that UPR and Topper are anticipating a substantial return from the utilization of this technology. If there is little oil, we will garner little value. If there is a lot, we will do well.

You are right that the best proof of the EMSounder's effectivenss is in finding new oil in an unexplored area. I wonder if that has happened in their Colorado scans for UPR? If it has and oil is found, that would be worth a press release or two.

patiently waiting,

marty
