Allen, while I think ACO is ok, I'm not planning on committing any more funds to it. That said, it was nice to see something positive in the arb world for a change of late. Hadn't looked into WLMR before today. Financing is not 100% assured, that's probably why the spread...at least that's my read on the SEC filing. Did you see someone else making an offer for VIAS?

PNK is likely to be closer to 25 than 24, by the time everything is said and done. Even though the valuation is fairly reasonable, I'm just not crazy about cash arbs currently given the junk market and prospect for higher interest rates.

HERBB doesn't have much option premium...probably not best to cover in my opinion. Still unsure what I plan to do about HERBB. May lighten the position some, but it's pretty cheap....just don't know when it might move though.

Couple interesting plays that are sort of arbs....ORP and RPS....both are proxies for other stocks, more like a bond...mature in 12-18 months....offer up to 70-80% return in that time...the underlying stocks are ORCL and SUNW....all they have to do is stay at current levels and you'll get those returns....and ORCL would have to fall below 33 and SUNW below 50 before you'd lose money. If you want more info, let me know and I'll provide the SEC filing links.
