I suppose, but its volatility that drove the market at a frenzied pace. If Soros is content to eek out lower returns, and a goodly part of his losses were in the tech/high growth area, surely some of it will hit more conservative vehicles.

I think the bottom line is that with fewer big guns running big money (and working to attract more capital) that things will slow down somewhat. "Investors" with longer time horizons may not be willing to pay up for this market.

And surely Soros and Tiger are not the only ones suffering.

What if buyers just go on strike for a while...
