Paul, not so Wild Thought. US/Gov. bought out MSFT.

Or send in to troop, US/Gov 'confiscated MSFT assets' and
distributes it to the state governments, then create
municipal OS districts to make software available to
anyone at a cost proportional to personal income.

You get it free if you are below poverty line and
luxury tax added if you make $30000/yr, or some kind
of index.

This is trendy. Redistributes wealth from the sinful
rich to the deserving poors. Ask the Dem's, those lines
never failed.
