Yes, the high flyers fall hard. I am pointing out the numerous 200-300% gains you miss by not looking for less flashy quality longs that finally blossom. I have had a boatload the last few years and increased my trading account several times over.

I would say the frustrated longs are those who held a lot of the Dow 30 blue chips the past few years with sideways charts and little or no net gain.

But their brokers and fund managers still charged their ridiculous fees.
