Why, both. Of course. Such a natural thing.

I suspect *if* the breakup happens, and I think DOJ will
settle for far far less, Windows pricing will shoot up.
Apps too will go up. NT already comes with an HAL and
it was ported once to other platforms, so presumably a good
chunk of the code is still portable.

But, unless the govt. mandates it, why should Office port to
Linux ? There isn't enough installed based worth incurring
the cost. But if they do, wow! another lawsuit coming soon!!
