DRAM manufacturers have practically no inventory. Mosel Vitelic has only 4 days worth of inventory. Where did you read-hear about falling DRAM prices? DRAM prices are around 6.75 and manufacturers are trying to jack it up to 7 for next month. AMD says it is sold out for all its products including microprocessors, for Q2. Intel can not keep up with demand and has shortage of microprocessors. All PCs need DRAM, more DRAM. India, China, Europe, Latin America are joining the industrialization and computerization. If this is the picture in Q2, traditionally a weak quarter for PCs, what can we expect in Q3-4 ? Stay tuned!! B. H. Barai
