He bit on a regular basis not because he was mean because he was scared. I got him when he was about 8 months old and he was skittish. Vomited in car on the way home. retreivers are flighty or birdy sometimes. All in all he lived 12 years. I just couldn't chance him biting any of my kids anymore.
