The possibility of class action, On this one would it seemïs alone be more than enough reason to better the bid. I agree with you that the independence of the Directors is in dire question. I have learnt one crucial lesson in life and that is that you never ever cheat someone on a deal. People can take being outwitted in a deal but never cheated. Want an enemy? Cheat someone, or make them feel cheated! Itïs all about respect.
