Unfortunately, until either MSFT shows better growth in biz OR the case reaches appeals, I am hopeless on the stock. So all I think I can do is sit and watch as events unfold. Some of them may be nasty for the short term. Like

1) Jackson's final decree (July - August?)
2) Result microsofts request for stay for remedies (Aug -Sept?)
3) Result of DOJ's request for bypassing appeals court (Sept - October?)

I am actually very disappointed by the short fall in revenue, eps in Q3 + the outlook to Q4 + outlook for FY01. I think it is a total disaster. I hope things improve with time and some day MSFT will come out say that they are now seeing things are improving and upwardly revise estimates. Till then I think this is the real depresser.

I never expected this to happen. But now I start to realize the meaning of "dead money"
