Dear Mr Boardman:
I am writing to you because I have lately re-read your opening statement on this thread and am curious to know the current status of your feelings about this "quality company", since you state that you are open to sharing them with "anyone who posts on this thread".
Not to be one to ask without giving, I will let you in on my latest experience. A few days ago I was contacted by a Bob Mason (new Luxor finance/PR guy, I'm sure you read the news release which came out in March) who called me at my private residence with amazing news. Luxor, he told me, had never been in a better position than now, and the stock should be at three dollars. Big things were happening (I think his exact words were "we know what's going on" and I should hope they do, although sometimes we are mostly led to wonder) and, furthermore, it seemed totally inconceivable to him that anyone would consider selling right now, even though he claimed to fully understand the lure of technology plays in current markets (I think some of his exact words were "I love Silicon Valley").
Your last post here is dated May 12 1999, almost a year ago.
Are you still invested in/following this company, and, if so, what is your take on Bob's assurances in relation to Luxor's near-term prospects?
