Alright- let's take this point by point since you are saying I am saying things I did NOT say.

So you are saying that philsophy is benefiting tremendously from scientific progress,
and is making contributions to political, social, and economical lifestyles throughout
the world. I said science was stimulating political discussion- I'll stand by that. Your article was proof of the kinds of discussion it is stimulating. With science making many new things possible, and pushing the frontiers (take fetal development, and fetal viability as one example) new issues arise that philosophers can argue about and society must deal with. I would say that is obvious. Everything from abortion, to genetic engineering, to the use of fetal tissue require ethical/philosophical examination. You are wrong.In your opinion It is the onslaught against the Constitution that is destroying
this country.Who was talking about the destruction of this country? You said philosophy was dead- then put a URL in your own post that shows it is NOT dead. Then you said it was waking up. Are you confused? You sure SEEM confused. Ok so you want to talk about the destruction of this country? Big issue. This country is constantly undergoing change. It has been much closer to destruction than it is now. 1880's and the 1930's come to mind as times when this country was TRULY in peril. Of course there are always people who think the world is going to Hell- some of them literally. I've got relatives in KY who think we are in the final days. That's a belief- they are free to have it. Next you will be telling me that I am wrong about philosophy because of the beauty of
Marxism. You are wrong about so much I don't know where to begin. But you are really good at throwing in lots of really crazy extraneous stuff into your argument and pretending it is cohesive. I think that's called baffling with bullshit.
