I've heard it said several times that the INS doesn't need a warrant for these raids, and the magistrate warrant they did get was just overkill. So, does that mean that the INS, unlike other law enforcement agencies, doesn't need to follow the same Forth Amendment (Search and Seizure) restrictions as other law enforcement agencies? Once they unilaterally decide they want an illegal alien to be in another place, they can bust into a house where they think he might be and, I presume, also bust into another house to 'deposit' him?

All that seems mighty draconian to me.
