Don't distort the issue. Nobody's guarding my back is an issue I am concerned with. If there are loopholes I want to know about them. At least with warrants there is the illusion that the judge will be objective and fair. Most of the mistakes you refer to are probablt related to criminals who engage in drug traffiking or other illegal activities. But you are correct, you could go to the cops and say you saw weed plants in my backyard and I would probably get searched. But hopefully, the judge would ask for EVIDENCE. Something you apparentlya ren't too concerned about.
