So you mean it is very much alive? Or only a bit alive? Or what exactly? Because it seems to me there is a lot of philosophical discussion out there. It seems far from a "dead art" to ME.

Thomas Jefferson was NOT using the Bible. Jefferson was a Deist like Washington and Franklin and many of the other framers. I would not say their philosophy was Bible based, or even included the Bible. They certainly had access to, and understood the Bible- the MOST that could be said was that their philosophy did not exclude the Bible per se.


I think you are more than dim, I think you have burnt out completely.

And for the record I did NOT say the Bible was "better". And I said the Constitution was too young, not too old.
