Well, as a shareholder I am a little irked to see ETrade come in 2nd to last on the one review, and find out that Gomez gets so much revenue from ETrade, casting doubts as to the efficacy of their judging process. This is, of course, a fundamental problem with all human systems, from government to the UN, etc., that being the issue of self-interest.
Philosophical justifications aside, I look forward to the day that ETrade has progressed beyond some of their present shortcomings, notably in customer service, but it could take a little while. The larger an organization, the more problems they usually have, especially, perhaps, an automated organization. Given ETrade's supreme attention to all matters concerning their business, I have to believe that they are fully cognizant of these issues and are seeking to address them in the best possible ways.
It will be great when ETrade's reputation for customer service shines positively, hopefully due in part to the functionality of their ATM network... |
