I think the projections you're using are all based on examining the business MSFT has today. There is little doubt that the core PC business is maturing and that there will be lower growth ahead. In my opinion, the upside for MSFT lies in moving successfully into new lines of business where the majority of growth still lies ahead. This is why their failures in the markets for handhelds, internet TVs, and to some extent internet portals have been of such concern to me, and why any signs MSFT may reverse the trend in these areas are of such importance.
