>Are there any TA people here watching this stock?
TA doesn't apply here...Too much momentum investing going on.
Imhop I'd suggest you look at the technology that both Akami and Mirror image have, and then form your opinion.
Xla went from 1.50 to 225 and now sits at 87.50.
Akami went from 56 to 345 and now sits at 98.88
Here's Akami's last earning. Sorry I can't give you Xla's...because being a Cayman Islands company...they don't have to report them.
Btw
Why Vik thinks XLA is good for shareholders being Cayman Islands based is beyond me. I think the opposite...if what he's doing is legal.
>CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 25 (Reuters) - Akamai Technologies Inc. <AKAM.O> shares rose on Tuesday, reacting to the company's latest quarterly results.

Shares opened at 82 but soon gave up some gains, and by midday were trading at 77-3/4.

The company, whose services allow for faster Web content delivery, issued a statement on its earnings late on Monday in which it said that excluding charges for goodwill and equity related compensation, it lost $24.6 million or 32 cents a share in the first quarter of 2000.

Earlier on Monday, the company had reported its net loss before equity related noncash compensation charges was $33.2 million, or 44 cents per share, compared to a loss of $23.5 million or 40 cents per share in the final quarter of 1999, before the noncash compensation and early extinguishment of debt.

The earlier figure did not calculate the loss per share excluding a $9 million charge for amortization of goodwill, Akamai said.
