And re the 'good old days'.....I think that we were really so lucky, and just didn't know it....we could roller skate (with the key around our neck) all day, play with toy squirt guns on a hot afternoon (and most of didn't have our little psyches damaged by those squirt guns either, run through the sprinkler, tear around on our bike, go to the park and READ. READ, READ, look for four leafed clovers, watch the funny things the clouds did, play jacks, tinkertoys, and of course, play school....and all sorts of etc's....
Our children today aren't nearly as lucky....they have too many toys that tell them what to do, instead of using their imagination....
