This is absolutley false. The margin requirements for going short
the exact same as going long. JOEL is not to be believed with anything.<

Does the lack of knowledge ever stop you from talking. Collateral requirements for short sales are met by holding long positions in the account. It does not diminish in any way our ability to go long, nor does it expend one dime of capital. And yes, we make interest on the short balances. God are you aggressive in your ignorance.
