Rick, excellent posts on options!! Thanks a lot. I have copied both and also filed them for future use. It is great to know that we have so much talent on the porch that are so giving and willing to share with others.

I am glad that your hard work is paying off with CREE & JDSU.

I will let you know how my positions turn out. I do not have 700+++ options open. Presently I only have over 120. I like your positioning, especially on the purchase of options, let the market come to you. Before I placed limit prices between the bid and ask and even market orders ( which I do not recommend on thinly traded options ). I assume that when you exit that you can place limit orders above the ask and let the market come to you again or at your target price. It is great that you follow the options chain so closely that you can find options that are out of sync or cheaper that the others. Do you not have a computer program that could run through these scenarios or must it be done manually?

Interesing on your TA, since I also try to chart the Naz and the stock to find an entry point during the last month.

I am glad Rick that you have the feel of the market plus the stock, this is important for the psychology and the time for your stock to run. We can all learn from your experience.

Last point, I do not want to turn this thread into an options thread, however is there a certain book that helped you or was it just experience and possibly a great coach / mentor that made you so successful and confident in the strategy of trading options.
