I do think we'll see MSFT Linux, and have said so here & elsewhere. MSFT could have its Linux up and running in no time. But it must choose its time carefully so as not to cannibilize Windows unduly. And this development, when it occurs, will make it very tough for CORL & RHAT & others -- while I cannot stand MSFT product, in general, the marketing machine is unstoppable, particularly when combined with an uncanny ability to claim every stolen idea is in-house innovation. But I think MSFT can just as easily make a mess of Linux as it did with Windows.

It is important for INPR to get itself situated as the leading vendor for Linux Visual Tools. The derailment caused by this absurd deal with CORL could be devastating in that context.
