The CompUSA ad in the Sunday paper had a spread about Pocket PC, and said there would be demos from 12 to 5. So I went over to the store near me about 2, only to find very little info or help. They had a HP Jornada 545 out, but no literature or other marketing stuff, and only 2 bored salespeople in the area, both of whom ignored me. At a price tag of $499, I couldn't understand that, but maybe they didn't know anything about the device. In any event, I played with it for about 20 minutes, and while I don't really have much knowledge about hand helds, I was impressed. Good solid feel, comfortable in hand, and familiar feeling in terms of Windows-type menus and terms. No add-ons or cards visible or mentioned at store. That's my quick impression. Would like to hear from others. KLN
