AMD and the BU$$ Could some AMD supporter please explain this? If AMD is not going to use RAMBUS technology in their LTD (EV7) bus, could you explain the technology that they are going to use? From the below link, it sure looks like the LTD bus is using many of the same features that RAMBUS technology provides: amd.com for example: Up to 1.6 Gbits/s per pin (where have I heard this spec. before?) Differential Signaling with source synchronous clock forwarding 16/16-bit link provides 6.4 GB/sec each way
