Any positive PR now would axiomatically be some shift in fundamentals which your hypothetical big money would not necessarily be apprised of, given Valence's closed mouth past behavior.

If only a third of this is an accumulation of shorting by the coat-tail crowd (weaker hands), the revelation of these new figures should cause a considerable disturbance to the short holders even without PR. Remember that many of the non-institutional longs hold a considerable amount of stock, and they aren't selling. As you pointed out, there may now be very little available stock to borrow.

Please don't feel obliged to respond Zeev, I think we know what our respective positions and biases are.
